Project Details
Provided Japanese–Vietnamese interpretation support for the Kien Giang Provincial Delegation during an official visit to Shimonoseki Fishing Port in Yamaguchi, Japan.
The visit focused on exploring port operations, infrastructure, and management systems at one of Japan’s 13 designated major fishing ports, handling approximately 285,000 tons of seafood annually.
I supported communication during discussions on Shimonoseki’s ongoing 6.3 billion Yen renovation project, including its transition to a highly sanitized, enclosed wholesale market system.
This role required accurate interpretation of technical and operational information, as well as strong cross-cultural communication in a formal government setting. The experience contributed to knowledge exchange and strengthened cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in fishery management and maritime development.
Tram Nguyen demonstrated strong professionalism and clarity in interpretation, ensuring smooth communication throughout the official visit.
